Video games and card games have been a passion of mine since I was young. I remember receiving my first game (Link to the Past) and not being able to put it down. That love kept growing and eventually led to more competitive gaming such as League of Legends and Smash Bros. I also gained experience in fixing retro consoles and games for not just myself, but for friends and eventually other clients. With card games, I was a teenager when I first picked up Yu-Gi-Oh competitively. That was the gateway to other TCG such as Pokémon and Magic the Gathering.
Competitive gaming environments sparks a certain joy for me. Even though I was never the best, being around other passionate players, and even those that were above my level, inspired me. That feeling is what I dream others to experience here in our store. Win or lose, we all should be having fun.
Sky
My first game was on the original Gameboy (no colour yet!). Super Mario Land blew my mind as a kid! From there, I played Pokémon versions Red and Yellow, then jumped to NES, Super Nintendo, and – my personal favourite – N64. I spent most of my happiest childhood memories jumping on goomba heads in mushroom-invested lands and pew-pew-pewing in space as a fox pilot, and in many various magical places.
Other than video gaming, I have a massive passion for art and TCG (specifically, I should say Magic the Gathering).
I want a space here to make friends with other passionate hobbyists. And if we don’t share the exact same interest, I want to KNOW all about it! One of my favourite things is hearing about what makes a person smile the most. It’s all about community, being yourself, and having fun!
